We set off for Newbury on a lovely sunny Thursday, it was a pleasant surprise to arrive at a show without being plastered in dirt. This was the start of a beautiful weekend the weather was scorching even hotter than Dubai according to the newspapers! The hotter the weather the more the public shed their clothes it was a difficult job sometimes keeping Mervyn and Adrian’s mind on their job of selling Fifth Wheels!
It was great to see Chris & Chris Till, Colin & Freda Andrews, Roger & Iris Taylor & John & Heather Gough who all took time off from their spending and sunbathing to call and see us on the stand.
The show had a better array of stalls than usual selling cheese, wine, cakes, clothes, flowers, doggie accessories plus all the usual essential camping accessories .
We had a successful weekend sales wise and the year’s build slots are filling up well.
