Just returned from a brand new show organised by Warners on the Cheshire showground site at Knutsford, this is the first show that is not too far for us to travel to.
On Thursday Merv and his support team of two girls (me and Ceri) set off to prepare the stand.
Merv and Ceri flew down the motorway in the Celtic Rambler and the Dream Seeker and I was left to bring up the rear in a trade-in Rapido motorhome, it was a very windy day and this was having no effect on the fifth wheels but I kept getting blown either on to the hard shoulder or the next lane, I’m glad we have a fifth wheel!
The weather was a bit iffy, we had quite a bit of wind and rain but that didn’t dampen our spirits and we had a good show.
It was good to see Brian, Jenny and Poppy Brandon, thanks to both of you for keeping us watered throughout the show and for the eggs which filled our sandwiches! Also good to see Godfrey and Carol Watson and Cole and Jan Barnett.
A big welcome to the Fifth Wheel family for Gwyn & Marilyn Jones who will soon be the proud owner of a pre-loved Celtic Rambler I’m sure they will soon earn their T shirt.
