Fifth Wheel Company – Anniversary & Experience Weekend!
Twice a year we hold our own experience weekend here at the factory, and last weekend we held one of the biggest and most successful events to date, which coincided with our 15th anniversary.
We decided to combine our usual sales-led experience event with the anniversary and invited all our existing customers along for the weekend to help us celebrate our 15th year of manufacture. To celebrate the milestone, all the existing and potential customers were invited join the team for a celebratory evening including arrival drinks, BBQ, live band and entertainment on the Saturday evening.
The company first started producing fifth wheels (which use a heavy-duty hitch mounted in a pick-up’s load bed) in 2002. Over the years, the ultimate in luxury tourers have grown in popularity and have become a big hit within the UK and now overseas; with an ever-increasing number of sales outside of the UK, seeing customers visit from Europe and even as far as Australia and New Zealand to purchase their dream ‘van! This weekend was no exception and saw us gain fantastic sales results and extremely positive feedback on the products.
The two-day event was held on 12th/13th May and saw over 120 visitors and existing customers pass through the factory doors to view the products and take part in a variety of activities including test-drives, factory tours and reverse challenges! To end the weekend on a high, we hosted a celebratory party, at the nearby White House, Rhuallt, to celebrate our 15th Anniversary.
The evening was a big hit and customers were up dancing, enjoying the atmosphere and partying until the early hours! On the evening a raffle was held and guests were in with the chance of winning some fantastic prizes including a luxury hamper and 50% off their next service with us! In total the raffle raised £880 and a local children’s charity, ‘NORTH WALES SUPERKIDS’ has been chosen to receive the donation. The charity brings “sunshine, surprises and smiles to hundreds of disadvantaged children/young people across North Wales.” The charity appealed to us as we were looking to keep it within the community and stay local. One of the major projects the North Wales Superkids offers the disadvantaged children, is holidays at a caravan they own at a North Wales Caravan Park. The charity is currently desperately raising funds to replace their current caravan and as a company we felt the connection with caravans an appropriate choice for the money to help towards!
We’d like to say a big thank you to all involved, all who joined us and who made the weekend such a successful one! We look forward to welcoming you all back to our next one in October (as well as new faces too!) so keep your eyes peeled for the date!
