Caravan and motorhome enthusiasts joined us for the first ever Fifth Wheel Experience Weekend on 9th and 10th August 2008 at our factory in Rhuallt, Denbighshire.
The Fifth Wheel Experience Weekend was a chance for existing and new customers to test-drive our uniquely designed Fifth Wheel tourer, visit the factory, meet other caravan enthusiasts and soak up the beautiful North Wales countryside.
With the support of an expert driver, visitors improved their road confidence and learnt how easy and safe towing a Fifth Wheel tourer can be. Plus, visitors were invited to take part in a ‘reversing challenge’ that tested drivers’ abilities to successfully reverse and park the vehicle in the quickest time. A team of experienced Fifth Wheel designers, technicians and craftsmen were also be on hand to give guided tours around the factory, answer questions and offer advice.
Operations Director Adrian Parry-Jones, said: This was the first Fifth Wheel Experience Weekend that we’ve organised. We had a great turnout and despite the rain all our visitors had a great time – many of them choosing to stay on site in their current motorhome or caravan.
And here’s what some of our visitors had to say:
Heather and I thoroughly enjoyed the Open Weekend and I can appreciate that you must have put in a lot of effort to make it so good. It was good to exchange experiences with fellow 5th wheelers.
David and I would like to thank all concerned for a most enjoyable and interesting weekend - despite the inclement weather on Saturday. We both found it really valuable, especially so, being able to talk to owners and hear all about the Fifth Wheel concept first hand. It just shows us what confidence you have in your product, being able to invite your customers to such an event.
Thanks once again for the open weekend, it was most informative as well as good fun.
Look out for details regarding our next Fifth Wheel Experience Weekend due to take place Spring 2009.
